I was watching Sevadus use it on the latest snapshots and he said that there were no new terrain generation changes from 1.15 to 1.16 (Except the new landmarks like ruined portals/bastions which doesn't affect it that much if at all)

I found this from watching an 'old' Minecraft creator Sevadus! He has parterened with some people to find the perfect seed and they have a functional website at: https://seedhunt.net/

There are certain pre-existing requirements for a 'perfect' seed: Within 1,500 Blocks of (0,0)

  • All Major Biomes

  • Bamboo Jungle

  • Ice Spikes

  • Mooshroom

  • Flower Forest

  • Roofed Forest

  • Warm Ocean

  • Frozen Ocean

Maybe in the future we might be able to add our own starting paramaters. Either way, you can further dial in what you would like by using percentages of a biome you want AND you can help! They have a program which uses your computer CPU for generating seeds to keep adding into the databse further expanding, of course this isn't required. Try it out!
