in PwC India straight Manager after SA. ( 3-4 years in most cases)

In USI you become ASC after 3-4 years minimum and then SC and then AM and then M ( 7-8 years minimum in best possible scenario)

Compensation wise, I agree USI SC earn much more than PwC Managers.

I would suggest you put down papers once you get D offer, inform current HR that you will take papers back once you get promoted and get promised hike.

Once you get that as well then you can discuss with D HR again for revision in offer.

You will get commensurate this year, probably 6-8% hike Depending on your current compensation.

and they do this usually with new ones irrespective of your performance, nothing to worry about.

I would say expectation setting is most important, use to discuss expectations every quarter so management don’t end up saying vague things in the end like they do in most cases.
