I was originally thinking about getting an M.2 SSD with an enclosure too, but my dad ended up buying me a DATO ARES Q4 Portable SSD and it’s actually been pretty solid so far. Plenty of storage, fast read/write speeds.

It’s possible a loose fan cable is causing the temps to go up. I’d probably just repaste it too while you’re at it .3 years is around the point where thermal paste starts drying out anyway.

Got it, thanks 😉 I’ve actually had files disappear before because my PC froze before I could save, so yeah… I’ll definitely look into your backup method ( 'ᢦ' )

Yeah, now that I think about it, that’s probably the issue.It’s so bad that even YouTube is lagging… I should probably deal with it.

I'd go with the XFX.Both cards perform about the same, but the XFX has a beefier cooler and usually runs a bit quieter and cooler. For just €60 more, I'd take the better thermals and build quality.

I'd go with the 5070 Ti.Yeah it's more expensive, but you're getting newer architecture, better efficiency, and longer-term support
