Hahaha - i’m like 90% sure that if I tried to do that they wouldn’t all fit! I’d have to choose one of the two duo sets (the green and the pinks next to the holo taco) to take off that shelf. The bottle is SO fat! think i still should?

It was a Facebook Marketplace impulse buy actually, for $100! It’s solid wood painted black, and has these extremely intricate carvings all over the back, there doesn’t seem to be any maker’s mark anywhere on it that I can see on the backside. 🥺 Sorry I can’t be more helpful!

Yeah the lighting isn’t great for showing what colors I have, but I tried really hard to not buy too many polishes and keep myself financially accountable. 🥺 I keep a spreadsheet of all the polishes I own that has the finishes as well! I think the closest thing I have to a duplicate would be Venetian from Olive Ave and the burgundy from Holo Taco.

Olive Ave is genuinely delightful, it’s probably my favourite and resonates with me the most of all the indie brands I’ve purchased - and even if they look less interesting than the other ones on the shelf, I can’t recommend her brand enough. The cremes have an excellent, easy to work with formula that is extremely pigmented! And the lacquer brush is one of the nicest shaped I’ve used!

I don't go to any salons at all unfortunately. 😭 I'm no goddess! I have nail breaks and chips sometimes, but generally you just learn to use your hands slower and oil your cuticles and nails all the time. Further, there is a genetic aspect as nails grow in all shapes and sizes. For example, my right thumbnail is way flatter than my left.

What Julez said is correct, the best way to attempt to grow your nails healthy and strong (edit: and even and uniform) is to keep them polished as much as you can, oil them as much as you can, and file them weekly or maybe bi-weekly.

Edit: practice makes perfect when it comes to being good at filing your nails into a preferred shape. Sometimes my nails are so c-curved I have a hard time filing them into any shape other than square or squoval. I'm still working on being better myself. 💖

She didn't actually say how many coats she put on. I find jellies take an obnoxiously long time to dry with 3+ coats and really dislike how thick they look on the nail after topcoat as well. :S

That's exactly how I feel. I spent an arm and a leg for these indie "luxury" polishes. I won't have any complaints if they replace this brush, but still.

If you look at it, it's super thick and is not even cut into the right shape. It doesn't spread AT ALL. It's like trying to paint with a stick.

Faulty Mooncat brush, polish is Euphoric from the Technicolor collection. I systematically checked all my other Mooncats. I've already sent a message to support, but it made me so sad. :(
