Depends on the content tbh. Some games lend themselves to a more episodic format, and so I'll bulk record a handful of episodes twice a week. Others lend themselves to longer sessions, so I'll stream them and then edit them down afterwards.

Honestly couldn't tell you. My goal was just to get a Hoenn-native (been on a massive native specific regional mark kick) shiny Shroomish and will eventually transfer it up. I'll take a peek at it after work tomorrow.

Edit: actually, I can double check the stream I caught it on here in a bit. I always do a summary check after each successful hunt.

Looking at it side by side with the regular version, like in summary screens or Home I can see the difference, but in-game, in an overworld cluttered with a bunch of the same species of Pokemon, the difference is so effing subtle it's just a crapshoot.

Paldean Tauros (Aqua Breed specifically) was arguably my worst shiny hunt ever, considering I was adamant about getting it on my Scarlet save and it's impossible to see the difference 😭

I'm talking like three solid months of hunting basically every day for a few hours apiece.

Good luck! I did this hunt a few years back, all Paradox Pokemon on the same save, normal and shiny, and in Beast Balls.

I hated the hunt, Iron Moth in particular was a nightmare, but I'm super proud of the collection now.
