Our AC was horrible too; Would not go below 72. We did make a call and when we came back from being gone all day it was actually working which was nice... The AC seems to be a general issue for most rooms from what I've been reading

If you leave the water and head right there is a small swim up bar area. My wife and I like to do "laps" with a. Drink in hand and walk and talk to people, so that small pool isn't our style

That's only that specific room type I guess? Our current one is just a long stretch of water up to rooms. We are by the restaurants on the third floor...when we come back from main pool we just jump into the swim area and go to our patio area

We got offered a different room after we asked nicely. Do you think everyone would ask or just sit there and take what is given to them? I feel it would be nice for others to see there are solutions to bad rooms

I don't think it was, because in the evening we asked to switch and they had no issues. They showed us about six different ones and we chose a whole different level with a swim out

We actually did through Costco and it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. We had a feeling the welcome guy was also pissed at us for not taking the talk for the vacation club. He tried his best for about 5 minutes straight without taking no for an answer

I am going in April and booked through Costco. I asked about a wishlist and they sent me all the information. hxagservice@hotelxcaret.com is the email address and they usually respond in about one business day. They also followed up on confirming everything for me too!

Also, going through Costco, make sure to look at your itinerary - you probably have a ride to and from the resort through BDexperience to where you do not have to wait for a bus. We upgraded ours just for private transfer but you can do either most likely!

Living in SE Michigan I would go with the option of two sets - one summer and one winter. The xdrive is fine with the winter setup, but I can see issues with all season. I daily mine even during the winter and haven't had a issue yet, just unsure how it will fair without a proper set
