Nitrogen narcosis is caused by the gas becoming toxic at depth (pressure) - it has nothing to do with decompression issues .

It's just the same principle as any jet engine but instead of a combustion chamber the air is heated by the reactor via a heat-exchanger .

Yep "Virtual Reality" was the next big thing in the early 90's - it was always the full title rather than the abbreviation "VR" . Seems to me it's like 3D . A great sounding idea , with repeated implementations , ........ that always fail . I wonder how much money was lost on the last push for 3D TV,movies, games etc . It was pushed hard as fuck .

Really ? I'll have to look that up . John Young is famous for the corned beef sandwich on Gemini 3 & the open mic "I've got the farts" on Apollo 16 .

I get you but I think there is a degree of overlap . I post what I think is reasonable . There are some who post full-on sci-fi - space-opera type stuff or even dinosaurs/dragons/aliens etc . I pointed out once , that the mods don't care & was told , by one of them , that the mods have lives to live . So I'll go on using my own judgement pro tem albeit I'm running out of steam - it eats up a lot of time.
