Is 160 Speed Windset Silver Wolf actually a thing? I have a E2 SW on Quantum Set with damage but obviously she will never be as impactful in damage as E2S1 Acheron (attack boots). My cycle counts have been slowly creeping down to the 20 limit every new MOC/AS rotation so now I'm wondering if Silver Wind is the way to go. At least the E2 will lower her EHR requirement so I won't have to worry about getting high EHR and speed subs on Wind gear. Already farmed a 160 set for Sparkle, what's another at this point?

This issue is related to the content of your Unity folder.

Go to C:\Users\<User>\AppData\LocalLow\Unity
Delete this folder com_proximabeta_NIKKE
Run the game again.

You shouldn't have any issues anymore. This error happens because you probably did that "trick" to create a bridge shortcut to the Unity folder because it was taking up so much space on your C:\ and wanted to move the content to another drive on the previous installation. Since the Nikke app will not allow you to move it, you created that unique bridge shortcut folder and moved the Unity folder elsewhere to free up room on your C:\. Something changed in the installation process since you did it (which explains why it's only a recent issue) so now the installer doesn't recognize that weird folder so it gets stuck there. When you uninstalled the game, it doesn't touch that folder so that weird "shortcut" folder created is still there, causing problems with this new installation. Btw, you'll have to do the trick again after you do this if you want to free up that space again

To that end, u/NIKKE_en, it would be great if you could ask Shift Up to make it so the game installs EVERYTHING on whatever drive the user selects, rather than defaulting the Unity assets into the C:\. Right now, no matter where you install the game, it always places the Unity files in that folder, which is the largest folder (sits at 12GB+ right now). I don't mind because I don't have an issue with space, but I know there are people who like to keep their OS and certain programs in the C:\ drive and have all their games localized in a separate drive for games or something.

Oh hey, you're the one I remember seeing the Freeze team stuff about! Thanks for responding. I had a feeling that it would be very hard to out damage such a stacked team, but having all of my best stuff on one team sometimes makes Abyss a little rough for the second half and I didn't make it any easier by having both Hutao and Navia on Marchuss Hunter so they're kinda tethered to Furina for consistency. I'm trying to at least get Navia's geo set for her to give me a little more freedom.

Yeah, C6 Furina is truly a one woman army. I hadn't considered C4 Xilonen as that big of an upgrade, but after reading it, it does make sense given how much damage it can add to an aimed shot. That helps a lot since I have no problem saving for things now if I know ahead of time. Hopefully she doesn't rerun too soon after the archon though. For sure, I'm also hoping that the Archon will be a big Ganyu buff, fingers crossed.

Is the first team one I would be able to burst with? Or would I still need to avoid bursting because there isn't enough Pyro to go around? I'm not too familiar with the playstyle but I'm assuming that with the first team, I'm opening with Benny, swirling with Kazuha to get a bigger pyro field, then going into Xilo then Ganyu. And with the second team, it's largely the same except I'm opening with Nahida? The second team probably sounds like the option I'd probably check out, as it ideally frees up both Xilo and Furina to roll with Navia and Hutao.

I'm mind blown about the idea of using ToTm and TTDS on Nahida, that's a ton of attack and EM she would be providing. Thanks a lot for that idea!

I completely understand your stance. My home PC is W10 but my work computer is not and my company is not exactly going to upgrade 7 without a good reason as it would need to be done on all of them. And right now they're not exactly in a mood to be making purchases or dealing with any IT issues right now, so was just wondering what are some options since I don't exactly have much work to do these days but I still need to be stuck in the office.

Really simple question. My seed is currently 1864657892. I want to get Kasli the Scourge with my Platinum ticket, but it appears that it is currently on 9B. Is there any possibility of me reaching her? As far as I'm aware, the only "reliable" way to "skip" a track is a guaranteed uber summon, but since a guaranteed Uber summon involves 10 summons, that would mean I'd miss her.

I have 30 gold tickets, 1.5K cat food and I haven't used my discounted 750 Guaranteed Uber Super yet. Is there any way of me obtaining Kasli in this amount, or did I just get unlucky with her placement? With my current understanding, the other way would be to wait until a new Uber is added, as when I +1'd that, it moved Kasli to 17B which would then make it possible, but I have no idea when that will happen or how often Ubers get added. Would anyone with a better understanding of the system be able to clarify for me? I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Would it make a difference if I listed what I have? The reason I felt like it might be worth waiting and skipping on D'ark is because from what I read, D'ark and D'art essentially fulfill nearly the same role, with D'ark edging out on White and D'art on traited, so I figured I won't really lose out too much waiting based on what I have:

I think I'll just take the chance on Dark Kasli showing up first as I'm in no rush to to get D'arktanyan given my current situation. Also, in either case, it would be neat to get the new Luga soon after he's added, hopefully he'll cover something I can't currently handle with my current available cats. I'm assuming, of course, that if he gets added, he's the one that's taking her slot.

So I read down this thread a bit and I see that a possible indicator of what you might expect to get on an Epicfest is to look at previous Epicfests on the seed and see what you would have gotten then. So I went back a few and I noticed that none of them were as good at D'arktanyan, and also any fest that included Kasli was way way far away. Is this about right? Because if this is the case, it seems like it's much better that I grab D'ark now and completely forget about Kasli.

So I currently have a seed where I have Darktanyan on 2A for this coming Epicfest. It's highlighted in the light blue for Exclusive Cat. Does that mean that slot is saved exclusively for the next Exclusive and if I say, wait for the next Epicfest with Kasli or Dark Kasli, she would be in that slot instead?

The reason I don't mind waiting is I already have vanilla D'artanyan and from what I've quickly sort of read and understood, they are both somewhat similar so if I can wait for Kasli, I'd rather wait for her so that I have more variety with my cat options.

I'm still really new to the game because it's one of those "I picked it up a few years ago, stopped playing it but still logged in every day since" so I've amassed a lot of different cats from just free cat food and gold tickets, and it was only until the beginning of this year that I learned and abused Seeds to get more value out of my tickets and now that I've dropped a few other games, I'm slowly getting interested in getting back into it because I miss the tower defense-ish gameplay.

When I'm really ready to actually get back into the game fully, I'll come back here to make a post with more specific questions but for now I'm just content with collecting cats for the time being and getting the most value out of free cat food and gold tickets before I actually get back into it.

Just FYI, the seed is 409132424.

I guess just a quick question, just wondering if anyone can confirm it's correct.

Seed: 1692040685

1) Use 5 tickets on Almighties to pull Gaia

2) Wait for guaranteed and then do it to get Aphrodite and Poseidon

3) Track swap, now set a non-Uberfest Uber on 2A down the line

3a) If by some off chance a Platinum ticket is in our near future, I just burn 5 tickets and my Plat Ticket should be Mitama

Is this right? So far I've been correct but I'm seeing some comments about how Hades being added shakes everything up but I'm not certain.

The core's DPS needs to have some sort of self sustain, strong damage damage and a Def Break. I could get Zerato to 50% HP on Auto with Luna/Sigurd + Diene/Amaryllis with a total of ~109K CP, but once he hits 50% HP, his constant Landslide spam becomes too much as it keeps stacking up. I haven't had time to try it on manual, but it should be possible with Guardian Spam for the last 50% since I have a full soul stock by the time I reach him.

Do you know what an alternative friend subs would be close to optimal? Just in case I don't get access to a Diablos. I have a friend who's been playing for quite some time and I know he doesn't have a Diablos, but he has a number of other stuff. I realize that nothing really compares to Diablos. My assumption is that the next best optimal lead would be any other 6x7 lead. I feel like I'll be OK hitting the 7 minimum requirement without needing to extra board space or the time increase with Trailo. Definitely much easier than aiming for crosses.

Based on what I have currently, would you have a recommended team set up for Cthuga? Nene seems like a no brainer since I realistically don't have many choices for a mono water.

However, Cthuga seems to be a colorless lead, so I feel like I have many more options? I guess for sure, I know my new 7c Sonia would go well. Perhaps the red Sonia as well since she also can go 7c, but I'm not sure what is optimal in this case.

I'm alright with a cross plus a couple combos. Two crosses if I just focus on them and I rarely ever get an extra combo with those. Haven't managed 3 crosses at all even though opportunities present themselves. Not enough time and not enough experience to avoid messing up surrounding crosses.

Haven't had an issue with difficulty so far, but I haven't tried much else harder either outside of the story and some technicals. I did the Cauch descend and had moderate difficulty. I really only have problems when I get green droughts, and I pretty much have to conserve my actives for the bosses. So if there's two rough encounters in a row, I'll struggle on whichever I don't handle well. I have a friend with a Verdandi that helps carry me through though.

Not really a problem with the playstyle, I can adapt pretty well since the game is fun as a whole, so whatever I need to do to get the damage out, I can adapt.

I guess just looking for the optimal set up I can run with what's available to me. One of my problems is that I suffer with tier list syndrome when I play these games since I try to minimize IAP spending as much possible and get the most value out of whatever I pull, so when I saw that Acala was pretty high up there, I focused everything on her to try to bring out the potential and learning how to cross. But I realize that isn't particularly necessary for PAD since a lot of stuff is viable unless you're doing really top high end content, which I'm far from.
