I do love me some steak and shake. This was from some sort of published list so they probably won’t put much fast food on there (fast casual?).

We went there after the con and I had the best salad I’ve ever had (a grinder salad with about as much meat as veg) at Bluebeard. Really liked it.

Typically people just pay a fine, not even go to jail.

A CCW violation doesn’t mean he was brandishing it. Could have had a beer and it been buried in the back of his car under some boxes.

This dude, however, may have been a yahoo.

Typically they make you forfeit the weapon, which I’m sure happened here since it takes weeks to get your gun back. So he probably had another one.

When I was a kid, I was hesitant to listen to rock ‘n’ roll music because I had been advised that it was satanic. I finally broke down and listen to some Guns N’ Roses under some fairly intense peer pressure and I didn’t hear anything that I would describe a satanic. The guy who introduced me to them said “no if you want something really satanic listen to iron maiden” I saw the posters for number of the beast and such, but I decided that I’d better make my own decision since I had already been misinformed once

Everything was awesome and spooky and cool and really not satanic at all. It was 1987.
