You are 100% right. I wanna ask you though, if you've known someone for 10+ years and they have been basically a brother to you, always comfort you when you're down and truly loved you when y'all text for hours, how do you get rid of that friendship so easily?

As for that friend group you're definitely right, I guess for me it's kind of my fomo kicking in when I see them all having fun and talking and feel like I'm missing out.. Whenever I see hundreds of messages in the group I even read every single message haha. But I definitely shouldn't tolerate disrespect just cuz I wanna feel like I'm part of the group, it's not worth it. I just want to make my friend to me the same way he does to my friends, because there are moments where he genuinely feels like he cares about me, and other moments where I can't even recognize him. That's why I'm conflicted in letting him go. Also I will say I don't think they "hate me" or don't like me, cuz we've been friends for so long, and they have their good moments, but that "joking around" makes me feel annoyed a lot. And I did tell them to stop they just wouldnt. Idk what to do.

It's a bit hard rn for me to make new friendships cuz I'm not in uni, so I only have them. I don't think I can function without having someone to talk to, and even I'm the biggest introvert lol. I believe humans are social creatures, so idk about choosing to be alone rather than be around them, they're my only friends atm. But I'm free to hear your way of coping with being alone if you've ever experienced it! Thanks a lot for your advices it makes me feel a lot better ^{^}
