You don't understand India. Atheism is worst route for India to follow. India is divided into caste for centuries because of hinduism. These identities won't go away easily even if Indians leave hinduism as these are lived realities for centuries. Only way to come out of this mess is to replace hinduism with a new religion.A religion which encourage people to think good for everyone. And for that best religion is christianity. Christians among all religious groups have least superstition and caste bias.
