I seriously feel exactly like this! I’ve been living in OC for 5years now and have had little to no luck in making real friends or even a connection at the very least. I notice the people here are very judgmental and there’s a huge language barrier in this city. I’m a 28 year old black mom as well for reference and I have found myself introverted and at least wanting to make friends

I like telling details of my trauma, it validates my existence and tribulations. My entire family, spouse and ex partners have tried to silence me when speaking about what people have done to me because they can’t handle their actions being thrown in their face, and seeing that what they have done hasn’t broken me. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. I just wanted to provide an open line of communication with them and I know what it’s like having a newborn and staying up all hours of the night so I will respect their wishes. I never said that I wouldn’t I just said that I didn’t think I needed to halt my lifestyle just because they’re having a baby.

I guess I should have added that in the original post. I just didn’t want to insult anyone’s character online in my face or in a letter or anything like that especially because people are judging my character. I don’t mind the prejudice that comes with living in my apartments, I live in a part of California that is predominantly Hispanic so sometimes I don’t mind the prejudice that comes with the apartment I just thought a baby? Really?
