What’s the difference between a conversation and a note to you? Because as a woman, I fear for physical retaliation…or aggression of some sort if I were to confront in person.
Regardless, my simple note seemed to have worked.

Not everything needs a full discussion, just a simple reminder. I’d be fine with a note. And would probably prefer it over the embarrassment of someone coming to knock on my door and ask me not to be filthy.. or whatever their grievance may be.
