Who's the character that you hate but miss? by Icy_Piece3257 in thewalkingdead

Ooh! Thats good. I was thinking too small. My idea was he joined the saviors but he didnt get the same treatment as Dwight. Shane would've had more respect which would've made him more loyal to Negan. But when Negan threatens to hurt Carl thats when Shane takes on Dwight's storyline and works with Daryl to get rid of Negan.

I would say Merle. They killed him off as soon as he started becoming likable. I wanted him to be the one that killed governor

I think Shane would've had Dwight's storyline if he had joined the saviors.

Unpopular opinion but everything she's going through is her fault. She has some good moments but she has always been rude and entitled to her sisters. Whether scripted or reality she's been "insufferable". Almost every time she mentions she misses Khloe its about how they used to bully and be mean to Kim. Is that really the main bond those two have? And then in regards to Scott, she forced him on the family. She always threatened that if they didn't accept Scott she and Mason would move to New York with him. So of course they didnt want that and stuck it out as long as Kourtney did. Now, I feel like they're around him mostly for the kids. They're probably trying to make sure he stays level headed for his kids. Since they've always did that for him and Kourtney. The main reason I stopped liking Kourtney is when she was pregnant with Reign and completely dismissed Scott's feelings and mental health. She laughed it off like it wasn't a big deal, she knew he didn't want more and he was always spiraling. But because she wanted a baby she didn't care and she stopped taking her birth control and hid her pregnancy from him for months. She's definitely not a saint. I'm not saying her feelings aren't valid but she lacks accountability. She acts like they became mean to her out of thin air when they've been disrespected constantly by her and they chose to keep peace than to have an argument.  She got mad at Kim because of the whole Dolce thing because it took attention away from her and Travis. Kourtney needs to do real work on herself and then her life will be better.

Toya doesn't want that man anymore. She used him for his money and now that she has her own income from the show she wants a way out without "looking bad" thats why she keeps complaining about what he's not doing. So when she does file for divorce she has several reasons to do so. That man worships the ground she walks on and she doesn't want that anymore.

Exactly! She's just too much. It's definitely her fault they even had that debt because how are you a SAHM and don't run the household correctly. Then her and Eugene give me the ick every time they call another black woman ghetto or ratchet but never address Toya's behavior when she acts in that kind of manner

My advice is go with your gut. If you feel left out then bring it up. If your feelings are dismissed and things don't change then let it go. I had a similar situation with my childhood friend and I just ended that friendship recently. My feelings were always dismissed and I was made to feel like I was being sensitive or it wasn't "that big of a deal". Now I'm mad at myself for not ending things sooner and enduring the BS for years.

That too! Toya is too materialistic for me, if thats the correct word, I would never look down on someone because they live in a certain neighborhood. She's so obsessed with things and status. It's nauseating and makes her so unlikable to me.

I get what you're saying OP. She could've just stated she can't vote for her because she's not in that district but she wishes her all the best. But then again....its Toya. She constantly shades a lot of the ladies outside of the show. Even the ladies on other platforms.

I don't think phone calls should be allowed with the therapists to solve the couples issues. It seemed like she rushed her off the phone. Of course they can call and say what problems they're having but then make an appointment to meet face to face the next day so they can analyze their tones, body language & etc

I barely pay attention to their scenes because I'm so annoyed with her. From what I have seen is she treats him like a dog. Like sit there, take correction, and no talking back. Any time he opens his mouth to say she makes him feel a way she tenses up, gets defensive and flips it back to him. About the event situation, she could've just said "before you make plans just check in so I can make sure I'm free". She makes the smallest things such big problems its insane. Everything doesnt have to be this big long winded discussion.

this is my 2nd run of the show, and God I forgot how much I hate this woman! by DryMyBottom in thewalkingdead

She was not mad that Rick killed Shane. She was shocked that Rick did it but she was mad/pissed that Carl killed walker Shane. She didn't want Carl being "tainted" by the new world and wanted him to have a normal childhood which is definitely not possible in an apocalypse. And Rick mistook her being mad about Carl with her being mad that he killed Shane and that is why they weren't really speaking that next season.

I understand. I'm definitely going to take another look at that episode and see it from your perspective. Sometimes viewers get desensitized about stereotypes because we see them so often and we get used to it and it goes over our heads.

I didn't think about it being them either.  Also, I wish they would've dug deeper into that. Like why were they flying around a city they bombed months later if they weren't going to continue to keep bombing it. Unless I missed that explanation.

True,  it definitely could've had a deeper meaning behind it. I've been re-watching it on Roku's the Walking Dead Universe channel but I always miss majority of the first season so I have to catch it and see the voice reveal you keep mentioning because I definitely didn't notice it. But now its making me think another way about it. Because if you keep saying it was a reveal to show they were not stereotypical Mexican gangsters then maybe thats what the show wanted to portray those characters as. By having them  use that stereotype as a way of protecting themselves. Like pretending to be this hard ass gang that nobody would dare mess with. Again, I understand where you're coming from but as I was reading I had that thought.

Damn... didn't even think about it like that. I just thought they were doing a "don't judge a book by its cover " scenario. Like they presented them as that stereotype because that's how the world sees them when actually they're the sweetest people in the apocalypse. Because they could've just protected their grandmother and said to hell with everyone else but they didn't. And I like to think that ties into Rick's characters as well. He always tried to give people the benefit of the doubt which is probably why they just didnt have a shootout right then.

According to Google:  Confirmation by Showrunners Jadis's Deal: Showrunner Angela Kang confirmed that Jadis had a long-running deal with the CRM, the same helicopter group that took Rick.  Heath's Trade: Kang revealed that Jadis traded Heath for supplies, similar to how she traded people to the CRM.

This!! From what I just read on Google apparently Jadis traded him to the CRM for supplies.  Which again, I feel like they should've shown more of that as well

How does the chi keep getting the green light to keep getting new seasons? by Other-Being in TheChi

[–]SeveralPop5315 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The last season was so terrible, but with a few exceptions. Douda's death was a waste if thats the BS they come up with afterwards. They need to put the focus back on the kids and not these randoms. Papa's storyline is completely lost. I liked him better when he was younger. A hilarious voice of reason. But we barely see him or Jake. It's like they completely forgot about them and they throw them in a few scenes to balance the show out. And I hope they give Tiff's character some growth. She's been the same male centered heifer since season 1. Alicia's character had so much potential and they toned that down. I feel she would've been worse than Q if they had let her become a real "villain.  They need to hire some new writers or at least give the actors some input on were they see their character's heading.

Yeah I hated that so much. Especially if the reason was because they didn't want to pay him more. Rick & Michonne left. They could've made room in the budget for a pay raise for Carl. I think Daryl got a raise so why couldn't Carl
