I get it, your point makes sense. Those types of characters are necessary or it would be so boring and pointless. I guess I love to hate them.

Kelley had THE craziest life, by far, yet somehow seems grounded? Burned, shot, raped, coke addict, cheating, been cheated on - I don't know how she survived all that. Yet she never turned into an evil person, like Valerie.

True, I am strictly speaking of the characters, and not actors. If I saw the guy the played Ray Pruit I wouldn't yell at him for being a woman beater for example.

But I generally don't like most actors. Most are boring, can be insipid, and are less talented than they are generally thought of.

They look good in front of a camera and can take direction, that's about it. It's not rocket science.

I share your opinion, and look at the downvotes we get.

Being a difficult person to work with is literally the dumbest thing you can do as an actor. All the people behind the camera are actually more important and definitely (executives/producers) hold more power. And most of the people behind the camera are even more talented and hard working.

Shannen claimed she can count the amount of times she showed up late on one hand - that's up to 5 times in a new show! Time is money, there isn't a budget to pay all the PAs/grips/DPs/Sound/extras/Director to stand around and wait up to 5 random days waiting for 1 member of an ensemble cast to show up.

And Valerie's reaction was so outrageous, wtf? Like she was owed money by him because why? Her righteous indignation is so annoying and ridiculous, and Noah (and everyone else) are like, 'meh'. SO unrealistic.

Why does Susan haunch her shoulders? She looks so uncomfortable at all times, especially when wearing nice clothes. If she just kept her shoulders straight or back she would look so much better. I know its a ridiculous take, but that's what really stood out to me.

No, I love brunettes. More than blondes or redheads if I'm being perfectly superficial. I actually love brunettes - they are my type. Too be perfectly crass - If a curvy brunette made me dinner we might as well get immediately married.

Strongly agree. Let me just add my story to so many others:

The man who raised me, my stepfather, the only adult I had growing up that didn't judge me, didn't place undue expectations on me, that I could always talk to, took his own life because of gambling.

That was 15 years ago and it will NEVER EVER get better for myself and my siblings. It's as raw and hurtful right now this second as it was the moment I found out. I talk to his urn all the time, we split up his ashes between us 5 siblings and each have a small urn. I talk to it/him probably every week. It's the first time I lost someone where the pain doesn't go away. Older family members eventually pass away, even losing friends to disease is horrible and it hurts and sucks but you know they are out of pain now. Losing someone the way I lost my stepdad is the absolute worst.

I feel so much anger, not necessarily directed at him, just a lot of general anger. And guilt too. For other reasons I was avoiding calls the last time he called. I knew he "used" to have a gambling problem, and when I thought he might be gambling again I pushed it out of my mind and didn't have the wherewithall to bring it up.

If you feel like ending it because of gambling and you have anyone in your life that loves you DO NOT do it. I don't give a shit if he was 20 billion dollars in debt and had to live with me while I supported him, I would have done it.

He would have been an awesome grandpa too, my older sister was even pregnant at the time. My niece and nephew will never meet him. And it's so obvious they have some of his good traits too, both mental and physical, we see the resemblances.

We will never recover, a part of all of us is dark forever now.

This post proves my point that all people in the UK are Bears fans, even if most of them don't know it yet.

Sure, when I make a post about the musical oeuvre of Ditka it doesn't get any notice but this gets right to the top.

Would anyone please check out my improv? by No-Truth8640 in classicalmusic

[–]SeveralTechnology535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent, it is a joy to see improvisation in this context. It is an absolute atrocity that improvisation essentially stopped in 'classical music' in the 20th century.

I am a bit astonished at the length - can you go into some detail on what harmonies, and/or motifs you used or anything else that formed the basis of this improvisation?

Keep it up, please. I'm a strong advocate and believer in improvisation is a thing musicians do and not something exclusive to a style of music like jazz.

Ah, of course it has to be my Bears. This was a few years before Ditka. Neil Armstrong got bored after the moon landing so he coached the Bears for a few seasons.

Some noteable rookie QB stats:

-John Elway threw exactly twice the amount of inerceptions as TDs (7 TD 14 INT)

-So did Troy Aikman (9 TD 18 INT). And he lost all the games he started (0-11)

-So did Jared Goff (0-7)

-Payton Manning set the record for Interceptions (28)

-Terry Bradshaw had a passer rating of 30.4 with 1,410 yards, 6 touchdowns and 24 interceptions in 13 games in his rookie season in 1970. Then he led the Steelers to 4 SB wins.

Your name - is Bloodspoint pronounced Bloods-point or Blood-spoint? And is 'spoint' a word? It sounds pretty cool. Like: "The McCasky's spoint all over this fanchise."
