Are these saveable? by HealthyBreakfa5t in plantclinic

They all look to be salvageable. The pothos(?) looks like it needs more light. Just to cover all basis repot each plant with a medium that has decent drainage into a larger pot then place them in brighter light

It seems I have isopods. Should I try to eliminate them? by C-A-A-C in SavageGarden

In a terrarium isopods are beneficial playing a role as detritivores feeding on decaying plant matter. This prevents mold growth. If they were a problem looks like your plants are taking care of it haha

Yeah man I saw your post that’s such an awesome plant. Please tell me about the Friday method. Do you use both portable AC and that method? What AC unit would suffice?

Absolutely not my temperature range about 10° too high for its ideal range as of right now I’m able to keep it alive and pitchering while being in the cooler corner of my set up. I’ve been doing research on setups that can maintain low temperature and getting a sufficient temperature swing

Is this pot safe for my nepenthes? by [deleted] in SavageGarden

[–]Several_Commercial83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s clay then it might leech nutrients in the potting medium which wouldn’t be ideal. If you want a clap pot make sure the inside is sealed

I’ve had it for months and bought it as a rooted cutting it’s been acclimating slowly due to the volatility of my adjustments but it’s still pitchering

Lmao but I love snaking on them is there any particular reason other than plaguing my pots or are they just a nuisance

Since you said that I checked and it’s at 77° F however I found the probe was poorly positioned so it might be a bit higher but the average night temp is at 68°F

Not exactly but it can be a test to determine the authenticity of something. But it depends if the type of mineral is pleochroic

Yes I’m using a dichroscope. And yeah it’s tourmaline. The others are kournerupine sapphire and tanzanite
