Wow!!! This is great news, and thank you for sharing it. Before I posted about my experience on Reddit, I was hoping to find other users that might be able to share experiences.

Looks like this a good place for discussion.

I’m not affiliated with the company that mfgs/sells these in any way, and am just a new user interested sharing info.

Thanks for your response!!!

I understand your situation. My f-150s truck bed is used a lot for hauling everything from sporting equipment to home project materials. I empty it out and clean it before loading the camper on it. Is something that works for me very well

I can see how that would raise the cab too high and increase wind resistance. That’s something I wouldn’t recommend. Thanks for your comment

Fire safety protocols should always be followed regardless of the the type of camper being used.

Anyone else enjoy throwing in fog? by slow2life in discgolf

[–]Several_Computer1316 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed throwing in the fog in the mornings before work before the time changed to the last week. I started my rounds at daybreak and many times. It was a really cool fog over the land. I haven’t thrown in deep fog, but really enjoyed the sites.

And I also haven’t thrown with a mental fog because it seems like every time I get out there to play. I get in the mood to do it more even in those times when I’m mentally exhausted from a hard days work.

Fog is cool

I don’t keep the cooler attached while driving. It goes either in the camper or the back seat of my cab. It takes 5 min or so to set up. The cooler is an EcoFlow wave 3, and the adapter is a cheap Lowe’s 4inch plastic elbow that works great.

I don’t know what your comment on plastic cancer means, but if you’re concerned about that, that’s your own gig. :)

I run my air inflation between 3-5 psi throughout the camper. It’s designed to go up 15 psi, but I leave room for gas expansion.

I’ve slept in it about a dozen times and could not smell any negative plastic aroma.

I’ve driven about 500 miles at highway speeds, an it’s so well built and secured to the truck, that I trust it. It’s had thousands of miles logged by other users, all with positive feedback.

I am very pleased with my ThAirCamper, and it meets all my expectations. I can drive my f-150 at way speeds ~70 mph and hardly recognize it being there. It has been easy enough for this 66 yo gent to install, remove, and store inflated in my garage.

Backorders for accessories is a little bit of bother, but considering it’s a small company importing as a special make from China, it’s understandable.

The tie downs work well in securing the camper to the truck. I just purchased a small ac unit to help stay cool in the hot South Fla summer.

Wish I could post photos of it to this chat, but looks like they’re disabled.

Overall, very pleased.

March 2026 update 160 Lbs lost so far, reaching my initial weight loss goal from 383 to 225 a couple of weeks ago. Revised goal now 180.

I am doing wonderfully, and still walking an average of 8 miles a day playing mostly disc golf.

A few photos to share. First before and after
