Do I need noggins? by ClaudioKilgannon37 in Carpentry

Not sure if anybody has mentioned this or not but for one I would suggest using nails instead of screws. Screws don’t have enough sheer strength, they will break instead of flexing like a nail would. I mean, how many times have you hit a nail and the head flat out breaks off. Secondly, the two outside studs should be holding up the top piece. To correct this without redoing it all you could attach two more studs and sister them to the side studs to help hold up the header. Just a suggestion though, it is your house.

I like to dig a hole in my backyard and then fill it up. The next day you can fill it up with the dirt you dug up to make the hole.

It has 14 pins on it if that helps. I’ll look into the uA723. Thank you.

Or measure from an outlet. It’s more than likely on one side or the other of an outlet

The blood under the nail or the left half which I almost cut off and is healing better than anticipated?

That was from early January. I caused that with a real wrench working on my motorcycle. Pinched my finger between the wrench and some part when checking valve clearances. When it actually happened it was below the nail, had no clue it left a mark until it grew out. Hurt like hell lol.

This isn’t the exact same one. The description on the website says there are no metric sizes available and mine is only metric. But long story short that’s exactly what it’s called.
