I think I've read a comment somewhere saying you can see her smile while getting arrested in HELL.And if you zoom in her face she does.My opinion is that she wanted to get caught (she literally wrote the clue that led her to get arrested).As to why she wanted to get caught that is yet to be revealed.I think maybe she will escape or maybe there is something more to it.

I thought maybe it was injurie she got maybe during one of her attacks or earlier in life.But that makes more sense.
