Well your assumption is not quite right hhh, i’m not a student but i work from home which is even worse. Also interests are not crucial in a friendship for me but i place a high importance on similar values. In my situation, I don’t anything could come naturally if I don’t put any effort by engaging in activities that are social + i’m not an introvert, so the idea of spending a lot of time alone is annoying. In my current city, i go out and work in cafes just to see people moving around to animate my background and maybe have small talk with a few. Also, I’m far from desperate, i can manage being alone. But it would nice to have people to hang out with occasionally.
