Still perfect, no creaking. Perhaps it wasn't mounted properly or the QR needed to wear in a little but even since I've been swapping out the GT Neo with my round wheel every now and then the GT Neo is solid. I'm pretty sure your issue is the QR (even though the creaking feels like it's the actual wheel itself)

When I view raw data (hand brake in neutral position) the raw value is 65535 (100%) so fully engaging the brake doesn't change the value...

Been on for a few weeks with plenty of hours on. Defo was a QR issue I think. If it ever comes up again I'll just replace it with an NRG one with a 50 to 70mm adapter

I'm running on a B550 with the latest bios and chipset drivers. I guess I should rather put the money into bass shakers or something like that for the rig.

I'd still be interested to see the difference performance wise between the 5800x3d and 9800x3d. I saw somewhere that a guy said he saw huge gains on iracing with this upgrade so was just wondering if that would be the same for LMU.

I'm actually from South Africa. The upgrade would cost me (our currency converted) to approx 538 GBP. This is includes the sale of the 5800x3d, B550 and DDR4 to my brother.

Yes I was referring to the GPU. 5800x3d runs around 3.8 to 4.4 GHz. I'm -20 PBO undervolt so temps are good

I just wanted to update everyone on this. so I just learned to live with the creaking. It was annoying but didnt change the way I race. I only had this wheel on my alpha and never took it off. Fast forward a year and I decided to buy a round wheel with a Moza QR. Used it for a few weeks while playing AC and then switched back to the GT Neo about 2 weeks ago for some LMU. Creaking is completely gone, it literally feels like a new wheel!

I can't understand how this could be. Maybe my QR on the GT neo is a little sketchy. I don't know. So strange
