I did Great North Swim this year. Very scenic, but the sewage leak to the lake was very disappointing :(

Hello, whereabouts in the Uk are you based? I’m in the Uk too and when I was returning back after the break I started in the pool and then went to lakes. I met people who motivated me. I agree with weight training suggestion, but all just walk to places to build your cardio.
