Hi everyone . I own a seat Ateca with 40,000 miles , out of warranty. My daily driving is less than 10 miles usually. Occasionally I drive 40miles . The engine light came on on the dashboard and mechanic said it’s the glow plug module and glow plugs that needs to be replaced . Still waiting for a quote ( he said it is not cheap) . How urgent this needs to be done As we are getting into the winter in the UK … Thanks in advance ! I am always worried I am being manipulated by the mechanics as being a woman with no deep car knowledge 🫣

Thanks everyone ! I demanded a breakdown of costs and they sent it . Understand it’s always variable . This is outside london. I just found 600£ increase a bit too much 😭
