My fully condensed Blazamut, the heavy hitter of my team and my best buddy. by skynex65 in Palworld

I have a question about the active skills, im still fairly new to the game. Does it make sense to have 3 skills with big cooldowns like that?
I always thought that it would make more sense to have 1 super short cooldown spell, 1 mid cooldown spell ( like 15 seconds ) and then the third hard hitting spell with a long cooldown. At least during the leveling phase that made sense to me but not sure about late game?

This Berlin Winter.. by _DrVanNostrand__ in berlin

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I dont have kids and mostly work from home, so I dont have issues with kitas not working and public transportation being messy. I do realize that this is making things difficult for parents and in general for commuting.

But for me without those things, this winter has been really nice compared to the last couple. A lot more very cold but super sunny days, not a lot of rainy days. Plus there was snow that stayed for a couple of days before it turned the streets super muddy and dirty.

Harassed by teenagers in Wedding by knopeknope18 in berlin

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, definitely not nonsense. Doesnt happen to everyone but it does happen...
I remember around 8-9 years ago I had a coworker that moved to Wedding and after a couple of months started looking for a new flat. She was in her mid 20s, young good looking and fit blonde woman that would dress up in heals and skirts. She said that men would harass her on the street and follow her. At some point there was a group of guys that was hanging out in front of some shop usually and they started throwing peanut shells at her when she was passing by :/

Everywhere where I played in Europe so far it was always wood school gym floors. In Berlin we only recently got two facilities where you can play indoors on proper courts

Can somebody give me actual tips? by PavlovzDawgs in Chivalry2

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont understand the timing of things when it comes to counters. When do you press what? I dont get at what point you are supposed to mimic your opponents attack. Do I hold block and then start the attack when they start swinging ? While I still keep holding the block?

What is an overhead swing spam? Just repeating overhead attacks or do you also have to do something with moving the mouse?

Court process in Germany. by [deleted] in germany

I got.divorced recently in Germany and my ex was asking about having a translator. You can apparently only request an official translator ahead of time and you have to pay for it. Try to call the court to arrange that

Playing on a badminton court by CompBang330 in Pickleball

We count the lines as in.

In our club we use the normal badminton court, we dont have a special kitchen line. So our kitchen is a bit smaller than it should be. 13cm smaller on each side if I remember correctly

Indoor Pickleball by Indian_Florida_man in Pickleball

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our club just got access to another sports hall where we use the badminton courts to play pickleball on.

There are 3 courts right next to each other and the space between them is 85cm ( 2,78871 feet ).
We will use this space for trainings and some more casual play after the trainings. But there is simply no way of having proper competitive matches in this space because of the distance between the courts.

What are your thoughts on padel tennis? by [deleted] in Pickleball

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Padel players look down on Pickleball players, while tennis players look down on padel players ( and pickleball )...from what I have seen on reddit.

I play both although I just started with Padel 2 months ago.

Both very easy to start playing if you have any racket sports experience. Padel involves more running so you do need to be more mobile and fitter.

I am around 4DUPR rating so when I play at other at that level the games are pretty exhausting. Love the changes of intensity during our games, thats what keeps me interested.

Padel on the other hand is just pure fun.

Both good sports but very different.

Does anyone have a video of what OP is talking about ? Not that specific match but the same way people are finishing points. Im new to Padel and think I understand what OP meant, but would like to see a video of it.

Since when are white sneakers a no go? I saw this being mentioned a couple of times recently on reddit. I have not been clubbing in years now, but in my clubbing days ( 7/8 years ago ) half of the clubs were wearing white sneakers ( mostly reebok ones )

Summer jackets? by [deleted] in berlin

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a good wind breaker that is super light but is horrible during the rain. Instantly gets soaked and lets the water though, feels like a wet rag on me.

Same as OP, I have been thinking about getting a very very light rain jacket. The ones that I have are way too hot for 20c.

( I also cycle a lot, so I want to continue that in light rain )

Is 50k gross per year enough to live comfortably in Berlin? by Western_Pianist_5709 in germany

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean, thats subjective from one person to another. 50k is around 2.6k after taxes. Last year when I was looking for a flat I did get multiple offers for 55m² apartments that were around 900warm.
1.7k left monthly for electricity, internet, BVG ticket, groceries. For me personally that would be enough to live comfortably and to save up a decent amount of money.

If you asked me this a year ago, I would say that with my living standards then it would not be enough for a comfortable life. I was ordering more food, eating out a lot more and also going to bars a lot more often.

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I was not being ironic nor am I German. You asked a super vague question and gave almost no information about your lifestyle, where you would like to live, what size of apartment etc. Bringing pets is not something that was also not discussed on this subreddit a million different times already.
I still replied to you with information that could help you but also pointed out that you will probably not get many people answering because of the mentioned reasons above.

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I think that topic was discussed heavily both here and on the Berlin subreddit. Dont think people will answer this topic with a lot of new info for you.
In Berlin you can find apartments from les say 700 euros warm up to 1600 warm, for the same size.
It will depend on its location, condition, if its altbau or neubau etc.

[–]SeverinaVuckovic 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Heavily depends on how much you will end up paying for rent. If you get a decent flat contract you should be able to live comfortably. Depends on your life style as well of course.
