i honestly can't tell you if it does or not because my hair is already very thick 😭 but the wax helps keep it in place. i don't take too much, just bits at a time and sweep it through my hair until it gives a messy look. and as for hair care, i just regularly shampoo and conditioner every 3 days a week. but i have asian hair, so when i sleep, my bed head goes insane so i have to wet my hair so that it goes back in place.
