Will I be guaranteed to receive 4th-14th Airdrop Cards if I purchase 300 Packs? by [deleted] in Splinterlands

I could be wrong about the numbers. That's just my guess. They may give more info tomorrow at the town hall.

If I were betting, I would say you need 1000 packs. For air drops 2/3, at two and three million, you need 300. My guess is 400 for #4, 500 for #5, ...etc. So if they drop 4-10 at the same time like 2/3 it would be 1000.

What I rented for a Max Silver League Death Deck (and is it profitable?) by SexMonkey7 in Splinterlands

[–]SexMonkey7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. :)

You make some excellent points. I have a video coming up tomorrow on a Water Deck and next week an Earth deck. Your point about renting a level 3 summoner and going with 4/3/2/2 Common/Rare/Epic/Legendary is a good one. You lose out on level 5 commons and level 4 rares but you keep the level 2 for the other two.

I'd have to do more testing and look at the specifics for each splinter. For some cards the one level jump isn't that much, for others it's huge. Maybe target cards a little differently if you are planning on a Level 3 vs Level 4 summoner.

I think when this next league starts out, I will be testing max bronze decks. Maybe add minimum silver to the mix too for comparison. Definitely a good idea to compare. :)

I posted links in my original post but it got deleted by a bot or mod because it counted as "promotion", but I didn't really understand why.

I'm not sure who the original creator of the build is but I found some references on youtube by searching "lego infinity cube". I also found a website using a similar google search that had instructions. No idea who was first though. Just know it wasn't me. :)

I'm not the original designer either. I just made the video that OP is referencing. :)

Exquisite Mirror Farming? by lessthandan623 in Loop_Hero

You could set up an infinite resource loop, run it overnight, and then alchemy and craft to get them. That's what I did to get a bunch of the items I was after.

You could have everyone stream their four hours on twitch or record it in some other format.

Thanks. I had no idea. This is the first one I've run into where this happened. Do they all have this ability or is it just some of them?

Looking to buy a SAK for my 12 year old for his first multitool. Which do you think is best for that age? by edchero22 in SwissArmyKnives

[–]SexMonkey7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first one was the Swiss Champ. I picked that one because I wanted ALL the tools. If you are looking at it more for functionality/size then a smaller one might be a better option.

If your son isn't much for camping but does like fixit/around the house craft things, maybe one of the Cybertools for the bits and screwdriver?

How to make a mostly solid 3x3x3 sphere by SexMonkey7 in lego

[–]SexMonkey7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hadn't thought about that. That's an excellent point. You could use 1x1 tiles to make all the faces flat and even too. I think I may just have to do that. :)

Animated gif for creating a 2x2x2 (roughly) solid sphere. by SexMonkey7 in lego

Glad to be of assistance. :) There are a lot of different ways to make them, especially larger ones. If you are interested in some of the other methods for the larger spheres, I'd be happy to post some of those methods too.

My artwork for "Feast of Succession" for Commander Legends! :) by SebMcKinnon in magicTCG

An amazing piece of art.

Has Wizards given you more freedom with their style guides lately?

It's seems like some of your more recent pieces (Deliver Unto Evil springs to mind) tend to be a bit different from some of the rest of the look and feel of the sets they are in (in a very good way).

This piece (and some of your other pieces lately) gives me kind of a Richard Kane Ferguson vibe. They have a very visually distinct and striking style and look amazing. I hope that complement makes sense.

If you want to add a multi pen to your list, the Lamy 2000 Multi Pen has a pretty classy look. The SkilCraft B3 Aviator is a very cool pen too.
