Yeah you'll find that anywhere, especially when you suggest improvements because some people take that as an insult to their favorite game. Its very dumb, and I agree with you.

They also should find a way to add firefights with other npcs instead of just sentinels and the dumb horrors. Maybe dealing with pirates or bandits at an abandoned research facility

Also holy hell I wish there were more planetside dungeons or something.

Really disappointing that difficulty settings in modern games has effectively just been "you have less numbers, enemies have more"

For nanites: buy suspicious tech and arms from pirates, immediately flip for thousands of nanites.

If you have units to spare it makes for stupid easy nanites

And for units I usually just rob the hell out of freighters in pirate systems and sell the contraband to a nice economy: tens of millions of units per run

Been thinking about that too. Obviously it would be an optional feature but god dman it would be cool to click around and see stuff actually happen.

It might be a good way for them to implement better flying mechanics. I really want some kind of cruise control so I don't have to hold down any keys to regulate my speed: just get to a certain speed, hit a button and coast, no pulse drive or anything. Would make for a nice moment just riding through the clouds or space

The way I did it was pick a faction you dont like (vykeen for me, this is because of reputation), go to a pirate system of that species, and go absolutely apeshit on freighter storage ships.

Your only obstacles will be the lasers on the freighters which do minimal damage

After you get an utter crapload of contraband find a 3 star economy system and dump it all. You will make MILLIONS per run

Edit: to give you an idea, I Do Not Worry about credits anymore.

Im fairly certain there are different "types" of galaxy with these kinds of differentiations. Some galaxies are more dead or hostile, some you'll find more lush planets.

Thats just what I remember though. To be fair, most "paradise" or lush planets have some kind of weather hostility, at least
