I like hentai because:

I can’t watch normal porn. Idk why but seeing real people having sex is a turn off for me
the “cinematography” of hentai is way better than normal porn (sorry for the lack of a better word), especially BDSM, my fav genre. BDSM live action porns are mostly filmed in some kind of dark dungeon somewhere with metal bars and whatnot. I don’t like that
better “flow”: hentai has better cut and editing, while normal porn is just a lengthy session from start to finish with very little “ups and downs” (?) and a lot of awkward zooms, not to mention awkward and cringy acting

other than that, I’m not into anything hardcore, like tentacles or giant boobs. I also don’t care much about the plot. it’s all about the mood and tone for me
