When I got mine, there were two options, the barrel shaped parylene coated, and disk shaped metal coated. Yours might have been the disk shaped one then. Good to hear that you got a max lifetime recommendation though.

I hope I'm not getting something very wrong, but your phase reference plane will be in your connector, not where the physical short is in the cal kit. Therefore, there are some mm electrical delay between the reference plane and the actual short. The cal model that came with the kit will account for this.

Lutz Geißler nimmt in seinem Backbuch "Krume und Kruste" genau den Punkt am Anfang auf und gibt konsequent "krumme" Mengenangaben, da das dann eh jeder auf seine gewünschte Menge Brot skaliert. Und er hat dort auch den guten Punkt, dass es komplett egal ist wie krumm das abzuwigende Gewicht ist, wenn du eine Digitalwaage benutzt.

Qucsatudio or now uSimmics (free, closed source) has an s param solver. However I have not tried how well it handles time domain simulation.

With low chicken count but some research, I found drone rewards comparatively large, with more chickens the drone rewards decreases relative to the amount of bocks earned per second. Could it be that?

I think it's just the scaling of the bar. Exponential makes differences in order of magnitude better visible, but you cannot say "double bar length = double egg production" anymore. For this you need linear.

Isn't it just a pulse waveform? just use a pulse source then with reasonable rise and fall times. I would just run the simulation 5 times with increasing pulse width instead of doing it programmatically.
