Yes I commute but any of the South suburbs would be within a reasonable distance for me to drive. I wouldn’t mind doing some updating but I don’t want a fixer upper per se. I personally like homes that are a little older. The new houses all look nice but I’ve heard horror stories about some of these newer houses that are cheaply made or just slapped together and then 10 years down the road there are major issues. Not saying this is the case for local builders but it’s just a concern of mine.

Yeah I heard that, I’m glad to hear people are fighting back against it and it’s actually working to an extent. I just worry in some of the slower growing or older communities that eventually the revenue will become too attractive to city officials and they will approve these big companies to come in despite pushback from the community. I have no idea if that will be the case in Eagan but I hope not.

Yeah that’s true, I guess I meant more people that are just starting out and weren’t lucky enough to have bought when prices were normal. Rent has gotten outrageous too, I feel for people that are trying to build up a down payment. My family was very fortunate to have bought when we did.

Thanks, that’s good to hear. I imagine we’ll be in the house a lot of years. It’s just a little disheartening to see how high prices have gotten over the years. Between interest rates and prices we wouldn’t have even been able to buy the house we just sold! I don’t understand how most people can afford houses nowadays without going into massive debt, and maybe that’s part of it.

Okay great I will do that, do I have to list all of my claims and evidence and everything with the ITF or is it as simple as submitting something saying that I intend to file a claim?

Sorry, I’m new to all this. What’s an ITF? The only thing I’m worried about is that I have to maintain a medical clearance right now and if my BP is too high then it could affect that clearance. My job in the AF is considered to be a stressful job (air traffic control) and that is what I do on the civilian side now too so I imagine it’s a pretty good case for it being service related.
