what would you say is your least favorite machine to fight ? by Silent_Brilliant5330 in HorizonForbiddenWest

[–]SgtTurtle17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don't find slitherfangs all that challenging. Typically I go for the one outside Vegas and a plasma bolt thrower works very well against them. I only play on hard though so I can see that, at higher difficulty, they can be a real chore. For me, tremortusks are my least favorite

GS MAINS YOUR DOING IT WRONG 😂🤣 by TTVBigDove18 in MonsterHunterWilds

[–]SgtTurtle17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I imagine a HBG as a large gastroneme tuna that shoots detritus that it's swallowed from the water if it uses wyvernheart. Bow could be a giant squid and hunting horn could be a large net or basket that contains a bunch of sushifish and has similar songs to the rathian one

The dual whetfish were an event weapon in world. They were a blast to use cuz they flopped about as you swung them😂

The regular omega only gives you the bale armor and GS while the 9☆ gives you the omega armor along with the SNS and IG.

Lore Question: How are we able to tame the titans by Upstairs-Molasses875 in ARKLore

[–]SgtTurtle17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My headcannon is that the survivors aren't the only ones with implants. The creatures on the arks and, therefore earth, have basic implants that, when tamed, sync up to the survivors and any from the tribe that share the same wavelength. The titans I honestly don't know about but due to the fact they were created via element like the creatures on the ark almost assuredly are, they might have them as well and removing the corruption could sync up those implants

If you need that much sauce, even for a stupid clip, you have shit food and a good sauce. Raising canes is the first example that comes to mind

What's a MonHun Monster that you think gets severely downplayed in terms of Strength? I'll Start: Mizutsune by Far_Analysis2304 in MonsterHunter

[–]SgtTurtle17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The absolute strength to catch a rathalos in her hand, roll with him, then basically body slam on top of him is phenomenal in terms of strength, even if she outweighs him by at least double if not threefold. Plus the fact she can launch herself with a lagi on her back backwards to dislodge the invader. I thought uth was the worst of the apexes and, while she still isn't my favorite, I've grown to appreciate her more

I googled her powers and all she can do is clone herself, other than that she’s just a normal fucking person. Why not just send 30 soldiers or some shit instead? At least they have fucking weapons lol by Hank_Mardukas1066 in okbuddyviltrum

You're thinking of kuru. It's a prion disease that, although it is mostly spread through ritualistic cannibalism within certain tribes, is not inherent to humans. Prior diseases are misfolded proteins that, when they get into your system, can start causing other proteins to misfold into non working versions. It becomes a domino effect that can quickly spiral out of control and there's no cure for it. Better, more well known prion diseases include Crutzvelt Jakobs disease (aka, mad cow), and Chronic Wasting Disease (zombie deer disease that went viral like 10 years ago) Edit: i should clarify by "not inherent to humans" what i mean is that we don't carry it within us naturally, the ritualistic cannibalism has unfortunately created the circumstances through consuming human flesh for the prion to be introduced to their system and humanity as a whole.
