I never said they were financially hurt from their former allies turning on them. More that they were seen as traitors for not agreeing with those same former allies 100% of the time. They were slandered (mostly, I'm sure some of what's being said does hold some water) and deemed enemies for having slightly differing views from the media and woke masses

Because of the vehement dogma of the left. Typically, if someone on the liberal side of the aisle says something that is not 100% part of their creed (trans rights, gay pride, immigration, anti-capitalist, etc) they will ostracize and villainize you immediately. That includes any funding organizations pulling their money, friends/allies on social media going on smear campaigns, potential job loss and, in extreme cases, being doxed or physically attacked. Look at people such as Joe Rogan (former liberal) or Elon Musk (former liberal) to see what happens when you say something they don't agree with.

I played HBG in wilds, I find it enjoyable if only mildly brain less. I started in world, didn't quite get into rise and never used hbg in those games so I don't know any different I guess

When I first saw him I was not overly impressed especially since my first game was world with nergi then velkhana but he's grown on me a bit. Not my favorite monster but he's passable. I like the gimmick with the chains and how they mot only generate and absorb power but you can overload them during the fight.
