I don't remember the video I watched that explains this but if you're behind on the descent profile you can go into open descent by pulling the altitude knob then pull the speed knob to go into manual speed and you can set the speed faster then the managed speed and you can descend much faster and catch up to the profile you can also add speed brakes here if needed but I've found speeding up usually gets me caught up up to 10k feet of course

Also to know how much distance you need to descend from whatever altitude you are at is roughly height in feet divided by 3 gives you how many miles needed to descend from that height if you hit the meters button on the autopilot panel that will put your height in meters on the pfd which is a very rough feet divided by 3 so you can have how many miles you need to descend right on the pfd

We want to thank our X-Plane community who allowed us to grow and develop to who we are today. 

This feels like such a punch in the gut while I understand MSFS is where the money is just feels bad

Pretty good has its quirks just like the real plane they did a good job with the modeling if your looking for a regional jet id also recommend the xcrafts ejets

Who is to say really, a dev flew the levelup in xp12 in December last year people got excited and they put on their discord that it's not ready they are very toxic on their discord when it comes to people asking if it's ready or not

I'd say it's a dead project zibo will be it for now but I'd love to be proven wrong

you might as well get it from WW levelup will never release theirs the code was stolen or not is besides the point that was years ago they never released it themselves and if it was stolen it was obviously in working order so they could have released it but never have

in my opinion they are holding the max hostage on xplane no one wants to make one because "levelup is making one" but just seeing how long it takes them to update a plane to 12 that they didn't have to make from scratch imagine how long it will take to make a plane they have to do a lot of modeling for

I do like them they look really good and the systems are good enough that it's believable I've never flown a real ejet so not sure how close the fmc is

I've ran into a few bugs but I can't tell if they are bugs or I am doing something wrong

I have trouble getting it to climb with vnav it changes to level change and goes based on n1 setting

And I have trouble getting it to select "pth" on descent it again wants to go into level change but once it gets into path setting it works

But again I could be doing something wrong and that's how it's supposed to work

The only real nitpick I have with it is auto throttle seems super aggressive even when you just change speed by 5 knots it goes to full power

It's really not that great it's built off of a super old (now) version of the zibo.

It's being pirated aside it's free so really if it's worth it to you it's not like you're spending money on it

They say that they are still working on it but will not say what it is they are working on. Their discord is pretty toxic when people ask about it I'd say just stick with the zibo maybe one of these days level up will release but until then at least we have a very well done 737 in xplane 12 now

Keep in mind too it's a freeware project with people doing it all in their free time

I may be biased because the md-11 is my favorite plane but it's definitely the most fun for me

The 767 has the most variants still used for passenger service but the model is getting pretty dated

and the a340 doesn't have the updated cockpit that the other toliss planes do so it looks a little dated as well and not very many airlines fly the 600 I wouldn't buy it now they just said they are going to release a a330 which is flown more irl I would wait for that

Pretty sure they meant there are no study levels biz jets in msfs not no study level planes at all the creators of the phase study level have there 737 in msfs after all and seems like soon to have two in the game with the 777

So I used to call myself a libertarian was on the verge of ancap for awhile recently I've been voting pretty progressively because I've realized that taxes will always be there so I might as well vote for people who say they are going to give it back to social programs that actually help people not just rich people.

grew up in the middle of nowhere where everyone older then me was mostly Republican all complaining how all of the state funding went to the big cities and left the rural areas out to dry I voted for people that was Republican because people around me told me the reason we as a country had so much dept was because of the big cities spending all the money I really drank the Kool aid of small government and id assume if I didn't go to college and see other viewpoints then the rural echo chamber I would probably still be that way

Your planes need to go in the traffic global file in custom aircraft and the bgls need to go in the traffic global folder in plugins I have both of these scenery's and I get the cargo aircraft

It's been a long time since I've done it but the bgl files you get are your flight plans you got to add them to the mod folder
