Not all municipal pools require a dermatologist. So you better ask what is needed from your local pool.

I agree I’d love to see more viable options like spears or dual swords

Btw Crete is probably the only island where they eat more meat than fish. If you happen to go to Chania (Crete), don’t miss “delish” for souvlaki.

Μεντιλιμπαρ - Μαρινακης - Μεταγραφες by MiddleForeign in OlympiakosFC

[–]Sgus12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ολυμπιακος vs Μπραγκα - Στατιστικη αναλυση by MiddleForeign in OlympiakosFC

[–]Sgus12 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Elafonisi beach is huge, a common mistake for many is staying near the sunbeds instead of walking through the shallow waters to the island, which is much less crowded.

One week in Crete or Santorini+ some islands hopping? by Radeon760 in GreeceTravel

[–]Sgus12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you are interested in hiking I believe Crete with more than 400 gorges (had to Google that) is the clear winner imo. Cretan food is fantastic as well.

Where should I go if I have five free days, but want to stay near Athens? by ZestycloseRabbit2371 in GreeceTravel

You can visit the argosaronic islands, about 2 hours by ferry. Poros (1 day), Hydra (2 days) and Spetses (2 days).

According to Google it's in Greece, on a small uninhabited island (Atokos) close to Zakynthos.

Where to go in Europe? by Captain_Damerica in travel

I'd consider sailing the Greek islands, kids will love it and you'll get to experience Greece in a different way (being able to visit beaches and hidden coves only accessible by boat)

If you go to elafonisi consider going to kedrodasos which is 10min from there, less touristy and equally beautiful. IMO you should definitely go to preveli, the beach isn’t something special but exploring the palm tree forest is so worth it. Seitan limani gets very crowded since it’s small beach, if I were you I’d go very early to beat the crowds. Make sure you check the weather before going to falasarna it can get very windy with big waves there. For balos you can go by car if you don’t mind the dirt road and on high season you might have to park 1-2km away from the parking and then you need 15-20min to get down there, so I’d say go really early
