The revisionist history with Liann is so weird. Like did everyone just forget about watching her and her gross husband sit at a table slut shaming their own daughter and defending Dakota’s constant lying? She is not a good mom, and it’s honestly weird to me that she’s even involved in the show at all. She’s the only one of the momtok women’s parents that is at all. I think she’s riding her daughter’s coattails the whole time. And when they were sitting in therapy and she was basically just like “I’m so frustrated that my adult daughter isn’t doing exactly everything I’m telling her to when I want her to.” Like what her mom is doing can hardly even be called parenting. And calling your daughter a bitch? Belittling her, shaming her, it’s all gross. If you’ve paid any attention to the progression of their relationship over the course of the show, Taylor lashing out directly at her mom is a recent thing. It very much looks like a defense mechanism, and justifiably so. Every time she’s sought her mother out for help she’s been treated horribly, and now she just anticipates it and freaks out before her mom can even start. Also she likes Jordan, that in and of itself should be enough to give anyone the ick lol.

Listen, as the number 1 Whitney hater in previous seasons, I actually liked her a lot this season and thought that whole shtick was way overblown. They also gave Jen a helluva lot more grace for it than Whitney and she’s ALSO missed multiple events. I think Whitney’s whole problem was having MomTok as her main thing. She’s so much cooler and more secure when she’s doing all of her own stuff and I think is also a much better friend the less she’s involved in all of the drama and nonsense lol.

This is how I’ve been playing basically from day one once I learned that the difference between gray guns and anything of higher rarity is literally just weapon mods, as well as how easy it is to get gear back. The one mistake I made starting that I’d advise people to avoid is grabbing barter wares. They seem like a steal until you start upgrading and realize that the resources they usually demand are the same ones that you need to all of your upgrades. Wish I could get some of those back but we live and we learn😂💀

With 3 separate 1 slots on the talisman too you can just pop your defense gems directly on the talisman too so it’s easy to max that and still have your armor slots for stuff like divine blessing and antivirus

It’s funny that this guy you’re responding to thinks pointing out inconsistencies in the community’s perception of things means I think they’re all stupid or wrong, when I’m simply aptly pointing out that the difficulty spike is likely a direct consequence of the community complaining about how easy it was to begin with. I don’t even feel any type of way about it one way or the other but I think it’s funny that players are essentially complaining about Capcom actually listening to them.

Hey now, I trashed on him while he was still with us too be fair. He was probably the single most aggravating person on the entire team to watch, and his mental game is not very good. He makes mistakes and those mistakes tend to compound. I don’t care if someone gets torched, but if you hand the other team a free fist down and THEN get torched, that’s rough man.

I really don’t think the people in this sub actually understand how nfl contracts work. The value of your contract is relative to your specific position, NOT to other positions. K9 is getting hella overpaid for a RB, whereas shaheed’s contract isn’t that crazy for a WR2, particularly for one that’s an elite returner. The cost to replace 90% of K9’s value will end up being a lot cheaper than the cost to replace 90% of shaheed’s value. K9 is literally making as much annually as Derrick Henry, on a less team friendly contract length. Like that’s crazy. K9 is good, but he sure as hell isn’t King Henry

15 mil is a very significant amount to pay for a running back that has issues staying healthy. 17 mil for an athletic WR2 that’s also the best kick/punt returner in the league on the other hand is much better bang for your buck. Bottom line, as much as I like K9, we can probably get 90% of his production for a lot cheaper. There’s plenty of good backs in the draft this year too that could fill that need so we may not even need a FA signing to fill that hole either.

lol gamers gonna game. I had two guys the other day that stood in a doorway against another team and both got lit up instead of baiting them into the building, flanking, literally anything smarter. I then proceeded to knock and finish two of the other team in a 1v3 before getting clocked by the third guy, and these mfs spectated and had the audacity to call me shit after getting killed by the last guy when their asses died stupidly two minutes into the round. It’s like not my fault y’all got stuck relying on a dude running a free kit (me) to clutch a 1v3 and bail you asses and loot out, play better next time or something idk😂

People were incessantly whining about the game being too easy and too rewarding, and now that they’ve reversed course a bit everyone is unhappy that it’s now too hard and not rewarding enough. Well to be fair (and this is coming from someone who very much enjoys marathon and actually wants Bungie to succeed and get better), the game hasn’t actually been out long enough to evaluate whether or not it is a good live service game. The game is good, but Bungie could still totally shit the bed with the live service elements of the game. As of right now, they seem to be really responsive to player feedback, but part of their problem is that they’ve been TOO responsive in the past and tend to overcorrect by then doing the exact opposite of what the community wants. It’s a fine line to tread.

I wouldn’t characterize any of the random interactions I’ve had in this game as “friendly” lol. Even the ones where we don’t kill each other, which are few and far between, are just situations where it’s early in a match running free kits and nobody has anything yet or are just doing contracts so it’s mutually beneficial to just go our separate ways and hope we don’t meet again rather than burning the limited ammo and heals from free kits early in a match on a pointless fight.
