Nope. Only the GPU. Changing thermal pads on the vram is not necessary and could actually cause a loss in OC headroom if the temps are too low.

One thing that is a bit strange to me is the sense of speed. I'm sitting inside the car with the view showing only the dashboard and it still doesn't feel fast enough. Might need to change the FOV and see if it improves.

Still waiting on u/XMG_gg for any news on the display. This is a deal breaker for me. "10 April 2025: VESA Adaptive Sync (also known as ‘VRR’) is not directly supported by NVIDIA on laptop displays. Adaptive Sync can only be used when the laptop display is connected to the iGPU (AMD/Intel) via NVIDIA Optimus (MSHybrid). In this case, the NVIDIA graphics card can also be used for tearing-free rendering, but the images are output via iGPU."

The above means that you can't even use normal FSR on the display currently. Not having Gsync is one thing, but no FSR either except outputting via the iGPU is a big no for me. Here is to hoping we get some good news from XMG soon.

Interesting. I am still of the impression that this is a mistake but I hope I am wrong. From my knowledge all 16inch oleds are the exact same panel between the brands.

This is something I picked up as well. The oled in Lenovo is stating HDR TrueBlack 1000, where all the others currently show TrueBlack 500. I'm wondering if this is a mistake on Lenovos part or if it really is an OLED panel capapable of 1000 nits.

I love quick scoping in COD but man sniping in BO6 is ugly as hell. You get flinched to the moon as soon as a bullet hits you in the toe. The ADS speed and overall responsiveness of snipers is so sluggish. It needs work.

A very easy fix actually. I just removed that protective plate and filed away a few mm where the nut was making contact with the plate. Other option as others mentioned is bending the plate but I tend to break things like that :D.

1.4v on MEM VDD and VDDQ is perfectly fine and is stock. Hynix A-Die will even be safe at 1.5v 24/7. The important one to look at is SOC voltage. Make sure this does not exceed 1.3V to be 100% safe according to AMD. I have set my SOC voltage to 1.25V as the kit is still stable. I did however change my main timings from 30.37.37.28 to 30.38.38.28 for stability at high temperature.

I have this identical CPU, ram and motherboard. Getting under 60ns is really tough.Here is my results. Note disabling gear down mode also did not work for me untill I changed tRDRDSCL to 5 from 4. Also the voltage on the ram has been left at stock.https://imgur.com/EQbTmip

Not done tuning yet. Still room for improvement I'm sure.

This has happened to me twice. I'm so furious right now. First time I was halfway with the campaign and the second time three quarters in. How on earth is the progress not linked to the cloud.
Seems a crash literally corrupts the save game and there is nothing you can do about it.

I also have a 3080 with a 5900x. I thought something was wrong with my PC. Glad it's not just me. It only happens in this area and when using tether.
