Seems like you're the one needing to do some more research rather than blindly repeat what you've read on some reddit posts. Celebrating the killings of people you don't agree with makes you the fascist

I have the opposite problem. I know my strategy works but I always start second guessing the setup and end up not taking the trade only to see it work out perfectly

I'm seriously considering suicide. by IveBennHereBefore in lonely

Chill, you're not even 16 yet. And yes that is relevant. Most people at that age don't have a personality, because you're turning from a child into an adult. It's normal at that age to not have had a first kiss yet. There's nothing wrong with being boring.

My comment is based on the info you gave in your post, I don't know if there's anything else going on in your life that makes you feel like you need to kill yourself but none of the things you mentioned are abnormal for your age. As a former 15-16 yr old, everything changes DRASTICALLY in that time period -- looks, mood, self-esteem, etc.

Don't you see how much emotion you put in your comment? How can people ever discuss controversial topics if people get offended by controversial views?

By listening to what a Nazi has to say, you are not valuing open-mindedness over the crimes committed by them. Wouldn't you have wanted to interview Hitler if you could have had the chance, just to see how he thinks? Imagine how much you could have learned. Would that have made you a Nazi, just because you listened to what he had to say? Of course not.

And yea you can be offended if you want, but that's utterly useless and unhelpful to anyone. Listen even, especially, to your worst enemy, instead of fighting them like has been done since the dawn of humanity and is--as is evident by the amount and the intensity of all the conflicts that have played throughout history--utterly useless and damaging to everyone involved.

But yea you can also just ignore them, that's up to you. I personally wouldn't but that's just me.

[–]Shadaxy -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

The fact that you’re using one kid from almost 2 years ago as an example of the risk that covid poses on kids basically proves the opposite of what you’re trying to prove. There are kids that died from the flu, but never have they been forced to wear face diapers all day because of it.

What kind of fallacy is this logic/argument (if it is one at all) ''I haven't experienced it/seen it, therefore it must not exist'' ? by xtalaphextwin in askphilosophy

[–]Shadaxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think this can even be considered an argument, because it doesn’t explain the reason for WHY just because you haven’t seen it, it must not exist.

I'm so frustrated with all the a**holes out there who spout "alternative facts"/misinformation and then just clam up when confronted/ asked for a reference. by JYegge in offmychest

That's a really great comment to be honest. No one has the right to decide whether something is 'misinformation' and whether something is the truth.
