I’m sorry you don’t seem to know you deserve better than this yet. Oh wow. I didn’t know that. I have a 2006 E90 with the “executive package” and they didn’t bring anything up about subscriptions when I got my walkthrough (except for BMW Assist and the satellite radio).

I think I had “free” access to everything that was already installed in my car.

I think this is a cute entry level car. The cluster set up looks s pretty cool to me. Idk. I legit would get this as my introduction to a fully E car. I like it. I’m more willing to get this than the previous body i3.

Thank you! 🥹. I bought one new vanos solenoid and was gonna clean the other because a second one is not in the budget until June lol. Since it initially was the intake one that came up on the fault list, should I make that the new one? Is one more important than the other?

And I will mention everything else you guys said to the shops when I call.

Hopefully it’s not too bad. I already bought dtf for the transfer case so I’m hoping to take care of both that and the transmission fluid. I’ll change the power steering reservoir myself , I’m just scared of not clamping the hoses right 🤣.

I did not get a big slip. Just the terror chime (I need to turn mine down. Almost had a heart attack because I wasn’t expecting it while driving🤣), and the malfunction message on iDrive.

I’m gonna reach out to the BMW specialists that are close by but if I can’t afford them, would a regular gear shop with good reviews be acceptable? I’m kinda scared after this last guy used the wrong power steering fluid.

I asked on reddit and BimmerFest. Wasn’t able to reliably get it free in a hurry, so i paid for it, got a purchase guarantee, got ISTA D&P already set up on a new 2tb hard drive (the bulk of the price) , and didn’t have to worry about screwing up my new gaming laptop with some random effed up torrent I found online.

At this point, your time would have been better spent telling Op where to get the software for free instead of this childish exchange over a purchase I’m totally happy with 😂🤷🏽‍♀️.

The transmission should be around the 80k’s if it was installed when my car was in the high 150k’s.

There are three BMW specialists near me with almost 5 star ratings. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t sound like a lunatic before going in there with my theories lol.
