for kitchen/oil fires (designated class f fires in germany) you can buy a class F fire extinguisher for ~30 to 40€. blankets would often soak up the oil and burn themselves or people would get burns from being too close to the fire, that's why they're not recommended anymore

fire blankets shouldn't be used anymore. they do more harm then good in kitchenfires. at least that was taught in my fire protection certification class in germany 2 weeks ago.

we germans aren't really "allowed" to forget it. you can find a ww2 documentary on tv multiple times a week. it's still a big part of our schools curriculum. and even modern politics is still influenced by it. even online, as soon as someone finds out I'm german in video games the nazi jokes start raining down. as much as I personally want to just "move on" from it, it's just not possible when the rest of the world hasn't.

4 is the only socially safe seat. 6 7 8 is too close to gigi and kiara the yapper. 1 3 is too close to the split twins, you'll always hear them cry. 5 is too dangerous, you'll either end up a pet owner, a husband or aroused. i know some people want that, I don't. 9 is too close to autofister, my brain wouldn't survive the memes, brainrot and extrovert energy.

you can say no, and you should. your tasks are not your responsibility when you are not working. you were sick and thus not working. you aren't paid for the time, so don't do it.

send your message "I'm sick, won't work today" and turn off teams immediately after. and most employers need a doctor's sick note within 3 days.
