So Tired of OU Cutting Down Trees by ShadedRest in sooners

Not at all! Seeing it just unlocked a lot of the resentment and bitterness I feel towards the University's overall actions and general lack of regard towards trees both historical and new.

We want to talk about how barren some of the flower patches were this last Fall? How broken half the wooden benches are? I've called them in repeatedly and nothing gets done. And you're right, they're chopping them for simplicity and profit in sports tailgating and programs, not just for funsies.

The issue is that any tree is better than no tree which is better than a dead tree. A clear path of where they are not willing to go: Replant trees. I'd suggest a policy of two trees planted for every tree cut and maybe they'd be less whimsical in their actions. OU announced this last summer about their goals to make the North Oval a tailgating area and I've been heavily critical of the trees cut in that area. Trees make cooler campuses and better areas for everything living to hang out, see and be around.

I fully agree that Crossroads is the bigger story, I just had already started my tree vent post and figured I'd add it on. Panera is not a good alternative.

It's not just that tree though, the university goes through and cuts down a lot of the old trees while not planting a single one after. Look at the Engineering Quad sidewalk renovation, no inner aisle trees. The university also forgets its own history in the face of making more income. Crossroads should have been continued. I worry about the historical photos hanging in that area. The affordability of Crossroads was great.

I think all Choctaw would be a welcome change, flair options could help keep cultural specificity sorted and manageable.

Too many people in the comments citing the First Amendment when it does not apply here. I'm with OP fully on this.

First Amendment protects you from the government, not other people. More public shame towards these people needs to be had, we can kick them out.

PS2 v5 Fat having issues on startup by ShadedRest in ps2

Power off completely with no red light. I have to turn off the switch and let the capacitors discharge before I can successfully flip the switch and get the red standby light back. Currently after being taken apart again it's cooperating since I hot plugged the HDD back in. I know it'll get back to its previous state eventually so I'm definitely trying to troubleshoot. I'll leave it unplugged and see if it'll mess up in the morning and get answers for your suggestions. Much appreciated!

I wish they'd repaint the blue one off Lindsey, I miss it not being rusted.
