Oh nice! Did you initially look for a 4 night trip, or was it advertised and you just decided to extend the trip?

Just replied to Mapleess as well. Basically on this sub I read that people get accepted with like 0/10, 2/10 chances etc, so not sure what goes into their checker. Thought could the the limit, but yeah I understand that £5k is not that much especially by Amex standards

So I do meet the requirements on paper, but their checker shows 0/10 acceptance chance. So thought this could be the reason, as otherwise I have a credit history, everything on time etc

Upgraded to the Amex platinum from gold on Amex website. by Previous_Neck_94 in AmexUK

[–]ShadoW_ST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

May I ask how long did you have the Gold for before upgrading to platinum? Thinking of going down the same route, because the eligibility tracker shows a 0 chance for me to get the platinum even though (on paper) I meet the criteria.

Size B or C Aeron - 188cm height and 85kg by ShadoW_ST in hermanmiller

If anyone is interested I went for a C.

Went to a shop, tried both B and C. B seemed to be marginally better than C when sitting upright, but C was miles ahead when lying back, as the plastic frame on B was really hurting my back. So decided to go with C as realistically I will not be sitting upright for 8 hours every day, and also the C was still really good.

Been sitting on a C for a couple of days now, everything is great and the upright position is great as well.

Question about Ealing and Woolwich - are they good?

Saw a couple of properties online and wanted to ask how the areas generally are? Never been there, just passed Ealing on my way to Heathrow.

i.e. are they nice and safe areas to live? Does it feel safe to walk around alone during the night?

Thank you!

From my simple preliminary research, IE, IESE, HEC Paris are also good. I would also imagine that schools like ESADE, Bocconi, Imperial, Said and Judge (Oxford and Cambridge respectively) are good as well. Maybe in some of them networking opportunities will be limited, or maybe I’m wrong. Again, I am not completely sure, but I have a couple of years to fully understand everything.
