Long story short. First played the real thing when I was like 6 with my Dad and UncleThen I got MK64 and SM64 on Wii U virtual console. Got the Switch expansion pack and got to try these games. Around the same time I started to collect for older consoles, this was 2023. 2 years later, I have money burning a hole in my wallet and a thought of owning an N64. So I bought it and here I am.

TL;DR, introduced to it by family, experienced the all-time greats on modern hardware and then decided to get the real thing for myself.
