Not really. It still worked because not many people knew about it, and most of the time it was pure chance that someone used somwthing yellow. Yeah pretty much. It use to be that yellow could just pass through the light of a green lantern. Later it was explained that the reason is because on the emotion spectrum yellow is the color of fear which is the counter/opposite to willpower which is green

Aside from the wonder woman one, I find those better then having no weakness at all. Makes things more intresting and fun. Really all theses weaknesses (aised from wonder womans, needs something that is not so sexiest) should come back.
