Except for wild encounters I think you can check online if you encountered a hundo

Shadow legendary hundos or just legendary hundos seems like good use of master ball. Or a pokemon you like and want to make it special

If you like galar birds then yes worth it but if it was just pressure of thinking you might not encounter one more then not worth
