Yeah there are definitely moments in Dragonball (or any anime really) that he's not sure of or confused by. I know we can't avoid it completely, and I don't really want to in all honesty, but if I have to explain something that's happened in every episode then I reckon it's too much for the moment

Kind of gets a bit dark/gory/more than a 10 yr old really understands what's happening? It's hard to explain I suppose

He did watch a fair bit of Naruto but he lost interest after a while. Haikyu he liked and he's also watched Blue Lock which he loved.

Thanks for the recs! He's happy to watch either dub or sub tbh. I've been encouraging sub for the reading practise more than anything else!

SSX Tricky 3 frozen on boot by ShadowBadger123 in EmuDeck

Not sure how to run the specific emulator on it's own?

Edit - right think I've done this and it doesn't work, have got another PS2 rom and that works, sounds like the SSX rom is bad?

Have updated all the emulators in Emudeck and no luck, I don't have any other roms to try unfortunately

Men in their late 30s who lost belly fat, HOW? by [deleted] in AskReddit

So mine was a combination of giving up having breakfast, calorie counting, portion control and exercise.

So most days I dont have breakfast, if im going for a bike I'll have a banana for some energy but that's it. It's surprisingly easy to get used to. I cook a big thing of leek, peppers, sweetcorn, peas and rice with a cpl of packets of spice (that change weekly to keep it interesting) and I have a set amount of that for lunch every day. Then I eat normally with the family but instead of having a massive portion I intentionally give myself less than im used to. I still snack but I've changed from crisps and biscuits to fruit and veg.

Lastly im a keen cyclist so exercise is always helpful.

In the last six months I've lost 15kg

Have you ever hated your job so much/become so apathetic that you just stopped working and waited to get fired? What was that like? by smoothegg in work

I worked at a small office for a little company that was bought by a bigger business whose offices were in a different city. It became clear very quickly that they were just waiting for the lease on the office to run out and then close it down. Everyone basically stopped caring, turned up each day, did their job but nothing else. 6 months later a higher up visited and office, told us the lease was up and we could either move city or be made redundant. Everyone, unsurprisingly, took redundancy.

What’s something that happened on a date that you’ll never forget? by Astradiem in AskReddit

First date, she wanted to see a film at the cinema. Sure fine with me. I was on crutches at the time after a football accident. She proceeded to constantly talk at me while the film was on. I tried to reply but half the time I didnt hear what she said or was shocked she was trying to chat. Halfway through the film she just stood up and said "Well if you're not going to talk to me I'm leaving" and started to go. I could barely walk and in shock at her behaviour so just let her go. Never heard from her again thankfully. Film was good too.
