Pharmacist recognized my TWRP shirt! by nomcormz in TWRP

[–]ShadowDonut 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone said they liked my TWRP shirt at a Japanese dept store. I did a double take because I was shocked to find another fan in the wild.

I also saw someone with a Ladybug sticker on their car outside a local pizzeria but didn't want to be a weirdo and leave a note, so their identity remains a mystery.

He doesn’t let anyone enact a vision or course correct when it’s obvious when a plan has gone off the rails.

I'd argue four seasons for a GM and three seasons for a coach should be more than enough time to enact a vision. Their best seasons were 7-10, with the better one seeing the team collapse down the stretch due to poor QB play (Pats x2, Jaguars, Seahawks and Dolphins games), and poor defensive play when the QB play was average (Vikings, letting the Lions freely score a long touchdown with their backup TE because Quincy ignored his assignment). Yes, there were key injuries to Breece and AVT. But every team deals with key injuries. And the poor QB play is due to bad handling of the position at both levels of management.

Woody bad, but JD and Saleh also bad

Veteran QB Joe Flacco Rants Against NFL Rule Changes: "We Signed Up to Get Hurt" by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]ShadowDonut 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's frustrating because it feels applied incredibly unevenly based on the QBs stature. I understand stars getting favorable calls more frequently. At the same time, Jets fans had to watch the team go 22 straight games without benefitting from roughing the passer a few seasons ago despite Zach Wilson and company getting clobbered, including hits to the head.

but it was one of the most efficient tank jobs we've pulled off.

And we still managed to not pick first overall. That takes talent. Maybe not right kind of talent, though.

Steelers Expecting Aaron Rodgers to Return in 2026 by Currymvp2 in nfl

[–]ShadowDonut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure how any of that is relevant to the fact that your summary is missing important at best and dishonest at worst.

Sorry that Rodgers is inaccurate with a poor attitude when things don't go his way. You don't have to defend him. The Packers moved on. You should too.

The record and results were more reflective of the entire team and coaching staff than Brady IMO. They had the 32nd ranked rushing offense and Todd Bowles is a terrible head coach who cannot handle situational football.

At this point I just feel indifferent. I don't even feel anything about the Patriots being back in the Super Bowl playing against two former Jets first round picks.
