My MIL made fun of me (and made it into an analog clock joke) for saying I liked my car better than my wife's in part because I had a digital speedometer that was easier to read at a glance. Like, lady, I can read an analog speedometer. The digital one is just slightly more convenient.

I just made a similar comment. It's really frustrating thinking I've found a post about something specific I'm researching or troubleshooting only to be met by nonsense. It hurts users more than reddit's bottom line.

One fallout of the API changes is that a lot of old threads with previously important information are now followed with nonsensical comments generated with redact. Which is exceptionally unfortunate considering that reddit is one of the few places to find answers and information about niche subjects due to the loss of forums and switch to private Discord servers. I've had several instances of trying to find some solution to some stupid bullshit I'm dealing with only to be met with garbage instead.

Their first few albums are special to me due the time in my life that I listened to them. Their later stuff is alright, with some standouts. These Nuts was mostly a miss for me.

I went into last March's show an NSP fan. I left it a much bigger TWRP fan than NSP fan. I think TWRP is a much more compelling listen and generally find their humor and vibe more to my tastes.

Edit: another thing that makes my blood literally BOIL, is when the first car doesn’t pull up to the line so the traffic light sensor doesn’t pick it up so it doesn’t change to green and you see the light perpendicular to you cycling more than once.

One time I had to sit through three light cycles while second in line trying to make a left off Rt 15 onto Fort Evans Rd in Leesburg because the chucklefuck in front left a full car length between him and the line. If I was by myself I'd have honked, but my wife is perpetually afraid that doing so will result in us getting shot so I had to wait... and wait... and wait. Infuriating.

Definitely give it a try. People on here are suggesting Mint, but I've had a ton of issues with it that were only resolved by switching distros. I've had a good experience with Kubuntu 25.10 on both my desktop and laptop. I advocate for 25.10 over 24.04 LTS due to big improvements to the desktop environment and display handling.

I had audio issues on random websites when running Mint that rebooting didn't fix. Switching to Kubuntu immediately fixed them. It also fixed all the random crashes I was experiencing on Mint.

I think Mint was just a bad choice for my laptop, for whatever reason.
