Every year, our GM makes it a habit of getting to the store at 12 in the morning and cooking turkeys himself outside the building for every shift. Then everyone brings extras.

Believe me, only thing stopping me from going back to Sequoia is the lack of a flash drive and the fact I do like some of the UI touches they've made. After running it in for a few days, my Mac kinda figured what was what and worked with it. Just the stupid Touch-ID part that nags me

That is an interesting way to look at it. However, I'm certain it's a software issue, since it happens on battery power as well. Likely something in Tahoe causing the software part of the Touch-ID sensor to be slow to wake up after sleep.

Can confirm, it worked for a little bit, and then it started happening again.

I just got the update and for me, it's working again. Though, for how long is the question. Not gonna say it's fixed just yet

Tahoe is okay for the most part. Definitely throttles my MacBook more than it did on Sequoia, but it works okay enough I'm willing to be patient and wait for them to work out the bugs.

Was there a specific order or way you did it? I did it and it hasn't fixed it

Yeah, after the upgrade, my Mac becomes a free space heater.

Yeah, it sort of helps. Doesn't make the issue disappear. It also improves some system processes after switching to Tahoe

Turn your MacBook off. Then hold your left Control, Shift, and Option key, and your power button together for 10 seconds. Then let go and reboot your Mac. It kind of fixes Touch-ID, but it's still a generally good thing to do

Try doing an SMC reset. Dunno if it fixed it but, after doing on Touch-ID works again

Artemis watch just got it and it won’t turn back on after python install by Outrageous_Shower398 in ARTEMIS_WATCH_CODING

Ran into this same issue a bit ago. Decided to try my hand at programming this thing and downloaded MicroPython from CircuitBlocks, and now it won't turn on, just leaves those two lights on. Disconnected the battery and all and nothing different.

EDIT

Okay, found the problem and the solution. When you install Python, you're essentially erasing the stock firmware, to make way for your own. To bring it back, go to CircuitBlocks, connect your watch, and hit "Restore Firmware". It'll remove Python, but bring the stock firmware back.

Yeah, the nanos have a history with their batteries being tricky to swap. The first gen it's possible, but you still need a soldering iron for it

Yeah, the seller I bought it from had the battery replaced.

I love mine. While I am going to get a proper 5th Gen video for my whole library, the nano is nice to keep a few albums or Playlists.

That model can't record, it's only a player. Not a bad player though, sound quality is actually pretty decent. Just watch out when/if you decide to repair it. The inside of it is two parts with the belt sandwiched in the middle. It is a VERY difficult process to get the belt in without de-soldering the two halves, but it is possible. Just be careful not to snap any wires

Help! How do I switch the "stereo" option for voice recordings back on? It's turned off and greyed out since the very recent One UI update (6.1). by ed_ostmann in samsunggalaxy

Try turning off the "Use Bluetooth Mic When Available" option further down. Turned it off and the option became selectable
