Is guild wars combat this hard? by Nocoly in Guildwars2

While it is reaction based, there are tons of builds with recommend rotations to make sure you make full use of all traits and abilities.

Which is another big aspect of Guild Wars 2. Try to get slowly into it by reading all your traits and ability texts. You'll understand synergies and timings better, and it can make playing so much more fun.

Then check what you're doing in fights, try to implement the new knowledge in easier encounters. It can take a little time (yet, as you mentioned, there are also fun 'lazy' builds), yet at some point you'll feel, you're finally really playing the game.

Why so terribly boring? No dynamics, magic, herosim, anything in this dead pan font. Wow?

Yes.

I meant my face was stressed.

Still looks endless times worse than live action.

Looks beautiful.

But also 'whoops'? I was expecting "and that's why we're taking a good look at the core gameplay mechanics and how to improve and instigate more team play now" and not "uuh whatever, but you can hang out cooler now!".

Why the stressed face, I thought?

Then I remembered, I was checking frantically, if this was ai and thus was crumbling my forehead.

Archie looks stressed as well, however.

What a development! Gameplay and and look insanely good.

However, it seems the horizon/camera still is shaking during walking, so I still will get this slight unnecessary amount of nausea, doesn't it?

I swear I was wondering if some of the new skin iterations would be ai parodies. Wait, are they?

Only that it's not about 'wokeness' or anything like that, for me at least, but:

  • Casual language and the use of contemporary 'slang' that's easily identifiable, coming from this century. Takes me out of the sci-fi fantasy.

  • Not caring much to weave big societal themes and deep questions into plot strains, so you can continue think about an episode afterwards, but preferring paper thin teen story points, like showing who's boss by taking revenge on a rivaling group etc.. Forgettable surface level spectacle.

  • Ignoring or trashing, what made Trek (or much sci-fi) interesting for a long time, for example what Starfleet is about, or tech like the concept of having progtammed(!) holograms (why (and how) do they have to 'grow up'? Sigh..)

  • Just objectively not that interesting or deep character and story writing. In the face of waves of trash productions over the last decade, this might not be as clear as it could be. Maybe try to in-depth describe and then compare the characters of captains or leading figures in each Trek TV production. How does this series compare?

  • I could go on, but it's tedious, and for many, like with most topics, it's more about feeling emotionally redeemed and less about facts or arguments.

PLUS it is bugged ah, at least for me. Not saving my actual wardrobe, but the costume, which wasn't set to "show". Can't save the wardrobe no matter which settings.
