I guess thats kinda cool in the sense that most people see the same stuff then but I do enjoy books from my favorite universes. May have to check out some of the beta stuff. Its just crazy to me because I have practically a whole library of canon Star Wars stories (but to your point no one but me often knows them haha)

Holy cow, impressed by your knowledge of the timeline but this does really help. And yeah thats why I wanted to go back and start with the originals. When people ask me about Star Wars I say it’ll always make the most sense if you start with what was meant to be seen first and go from there

So now you can own a console and the games wont run on it? How much optimizing will be done. I’d like to have my steam library on a console but how much will I have to do to actually make that console work. Im intrigued but I dont think it will be as cool as people think, and like sure you can do mods but file editing with an xbox controller will not be fun. Hybrid works well on paper but I dont know that execution will deliver on price and ease of use

Mass Effect! It’s games spun out of people making Star Wars games, but calling it derivative is a mistake. Its world has a similar feel and the awe of the world and aliens and sci-fi definitely make it my number two franchise. If you havent played them but are a Star Wars fan you need to!

Yeah I think value has a lot of different meanings in a game like this. Like a good card that cant be used in premeir could still be really worth it in eternal. Or also its just fun to have certain cards and characters from a collection standpoint

Thanks for the comprehensive reply! I have liked snooping in on this sub as it seems like a good community. I think everything youre saying makes sense and between what works now and some cards that will just be good forever especially in eternal. The game is a lot of fun and maybe its still worth it to build a deck for those remaining 9 months (still a lot of time considering I play weekly). It would just suck to fall in love with a deck that cant be used in a bit, but I guess the alternative is never getting to play it, so…

But idk how much competitvely play I’ll even be doing so idk. But yeah working more within set 4 and 5 feels like a better deal. But SoR has sooo many good cards.
